Quarter Million Phone Project

Americans discard more than 130 million cell phones per year, generating 65,000 tons of trash. At RenovoData Services we set a goal to collect a quarter million cell phones. And all profits will go to the RenovoLife Foundation.

Cell phones have become such a part of our lives, it seems odd when someone doesn’t own one.

But our handy cell phones contain some very nasty chemicals and heavy metals. When cell phones are dumped into landfills or burned in waste incinerators, the following toxins are released into the environment:

  • Arsenic
  • Antimony
  • Beryllium
  • Cadmium
  • Copper
  • Lead
  • Nickel
  • Zinc

These toxins have been associated with cancer and neurological disorders, primarily in children.

RenovoData Services would like to take your old cell phones off your hands, for free. By giving your unused and outdated cell phones to RenovoData, you’ll take a bit of clutter out of your home, help the environment and, most importantly, help someone else.

RenovoData will repurpose or recycle your old phone, and guarantee that it will not be incinerated or dumped into a landfill. Plus, all profits go to the RenovoLife Foundation, which contributes to autism support, cancer research and support projects.

Three billion registered phone users keep their phones for only 18 months. Many people toss out old phones with the regular garbage.

Don’t toss it.

RenovoData needs your old cell phone to reach their goal to collect a quarter million phones.
